October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month which is REALLY important to me. I lost my mom to breast cancer when I was 11 years old. She was a brilliant, beautiful, 36 year old woman, with 3 small kids and a bright future. This is really hitting home for me now more than ever as I am 34, with 3 young kids, and a LOT that I want to accomplish.
My TOP priority is wellness. And my mission is to teach women what this means for them, and how they can uplevel their own wellness!
Back in the early 90s, when my mom was diagnosed, we didn’t know the dangers of parabens, phthalates, BPA, dyes, synthetic fragrances, toxins in our cleaning and beauty products (the average woman uses over 500 toxins in her beauty regimen DAILY), and very few were aware HEALTHY, NATURAL, EFFECTIVE replacements.

MY TOP 3 ESSENTIAL OILS FOR WOMEN’S HEALTH
JASMINE: Promotes healthy and glowing skin, and complexion. Balancing to the hormones. Emotionally uplifting. Apply to the wrists or back of neck for emotional support, directly on the face as part of your beauty routine, OR for monthly support, right over the abdomen. This was my FAVORITE oil to use during my first few weeks postpartum, and I also recommend it pre-pregnancy too. This oil can also be a beautiful PURE-fume replacing all the toxic chemicals in perfumes and fragrances! (I’ll be posting more on this soon! But seriously, pure, aromatic, essential oils instead of lab-made fragrances = simple swap!)
GRAPEFRUIT: Supports a healthy metabolism and helps curb sugar cravings when taken internally. Increases motivation and uplifts mood when diffused. Cleansing + Purifying to the skin when applied topically. I love to add 2 drops of Grapefruit EO to my 20oz water bottle. It tastes delicious AND detoxifies. Citrus oils are great replacements for household cleaners as well! Add citrus oils to white vinegar + water for an easy DIY cleaner. *And ALWAYS use glass, stainless steel or aluminum bottles or cups as citrus oils breakdown petrochemicals in plastics.*
PINK PEPPER: This oil is known for its ability to strengthen the immune system and maintain healthy cellular function. Supports healthy digestive and respiratory function. Can be taken internally to help avoid seasonal threats. To take internally put 1-2 drops in a veggie capsule, or try a drop in your water for twist with a kick! And remember- all oils are NOT created equal. Unless indicated for internal use, do not ingest. ***Look for Supplement Facts on bottle before ingesting***
There are so many others that can be added to this list, but these are my personal favorites. I encourage you to experiment with all the oils to see how your body responds.
